This was a project for the Fontys University of Applied Sciences. The current scheduling/calendar software was anything but easy to use and didn't remember any settings or frequently viewed calendars. Because of this I was asked to create a new version and came up with a few handy features for it:

  • Is easy to use
  • Allows users to subscribe to frequently used calendars
  • Export to Google Calendar
  • Has overviews of the various classes, teachers and courses
  • Week numbers (school weeks and regular weeks)
  • Absent teachers
  • Current time marked
  • Vacations/exam periods
  • Lessons shown in blocks
  • Search engine (searches everything)
  • Mark final lesson of a course in red
  • Save user preferences based on login (Active directory)

Unfortunately, due to the lack of access to the needed data, a development environment and privacy issues, the project stayed in the concept phase.
